HONEYWELL TO PROVIDE BRITISH AIRWAYS WITH WHEELS AND CARBON BRAKES OVER LIFETIME |

DUBAI AIR SHOW, U.A.E., Nov. 15, 2009-- Honeywell (NYSE: HON) announced today that it will provide wheels and carbon brakes for British Airways’ Boeing 767 and 777 aircraft over the life of the fleet in a contract valued at more than $50 million.
“This program is one of the longest materials supply agreements we have ever entered,” said Mike Madsen, Vice President of Airlines, Honeywell Aerospace. “By extending coverage over the fleet’s lifetime and partnering with Honeywell as a preferred supplier, British Airways is securing low and predictable maintenance costs for their fleet.”
The contract calls for Honeywell to provide British Airways with wheels and brakes materials on 46 Boeing B777-200 and 16 B767-300 aircraft through their lifetime, up to 2033. British Airways will maintain the B777 and B767 wheels and brakes in its own recently built workshop near Heathrow Airport.

Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA), which organises the event in conjunction with the UAE Air Force, believes the inclusion of new-to-the region displays are critical in reinforcing the Al Ain spectacle as one of the world’s most prominent aerobatics events.
