Al Araimi Complex, City Plaza, Gold Souq, SABCO Center are other famous places for shopping. The traditional Muttrah souqs in Muscat are a must visit place when you shop in Muscat. It has numerous malls and unlike large shopping malls, you have to bargain with the traders to get the fair prices at the souq. The shops are opened from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and again from 4 pm to 9 p.m. Many shops here are closed on Fridays.
